It’s why I am working to pass the Dalilah Law, named in honor of Dalilah Coleman, to restrict CDLs for illegal aliens and mandate English-only CDL testing.

As of the current eCFR version, CDL knowledge tests may still be administered in a foreign language if no interpreter is used; CDL skills tests must be conducted in English.

Tiffany's official newsletter described Dalilah Law as legislation he cosponsored and said it would stop states from issuing CDLs to illegal aliens and mandate English-only CDL testing.
Assessments
The promised federal outcome has not been delivered. Current federal CDL rules require skills tests to be conducted in English, but still allow CDL knowledge tests in a foreign language without an interpreter, so there is no full English-only CDL testing mandate. Tiffany cosponsored legislation in the same congressional term to create such a mandate, which is a serious legislative attempt, but the evidence does not show enactment or implemented federal policy.
