The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is described as a historic opportunity to rebuild America’s roads, bridges and rails; expand access to clean drinking water; ensure that every American has access to high-speed internet; and improve ports, airports, rail, and roads.
McBath announced that Georgia will receive over $1.3 billion to expand highspeed internet access across the State. The funding comes from the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program, part of the NTIA. McBath said she was thrilled to see these federal funds come home to Georgia, and said both pieces of legislation McBath fought for made the Internet for All initiative possible.

Assessments
McBath promised to support infrastructure funding, not to single-handedly secure every project category. During the 2021-2023 term following the 2020 campaign, she voted yes on H.R. 3684, the infrastructure bill that became Public Law 117-58 on November 15, 2021. The enacted Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funded roads, airports, transit, drinking water, broadband, and related infrastructure categories matching the claim, and later Georgia broadband funds flowed from that law. Because she supported the enacted federal legislation during the relevant term, the promise is fulfilled with same-term timing.
McBath promised to support funding for infrastructure projects across roads, airports, transit, drinking water, and high-speed internet. The evidence shows she voted yes on H.R. 3684, the infrastructure bill that became Public Law 117-58 in November 2021, during the same congressional term. Official materials describe the enacted law as funding the same categories named in the promise, and subsequent Georgia broadband funding demonstrates implementation of at least one promised category. Because the promise was framed as support for funding, not completion of all projects, voting for and helping enact the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law fulfills it.
