Evidence
"Sanity in Healthcare Restored" ... "To fix healthcare and make it more affordable and sane again, Rich is championing patient-centered healthcare solutions" including pricing transparency, allowing hospital visitations without unfair restrictions, slashing federally mandated paperwork, and stopping socialized medicine schemes.
Rep. McCormick introduced H.R. 6211 on November 20, 2025. The bill was referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and the tracker shows the status as Introduced; the bill text says it would expand license portability for health care professionals providing services in response to a federal emergency declaration.
McCormick's official House healthcare page says he wants to "deregulate healthcare significantly" and calls for a "true free-market solution," while noting he is a cosponsor of the PBM Reform Act and the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act.
Assessments
McCormick promised broad healthcare reform framed as restoring affordability, patient-centered care, deregulation, transparency, and opposition to socialized medicine. The evidence shows continued advocacy, cosponsorships, and introduction of H.R. 6211, but no completed federal policy outcome attributable to him that fulfills the broad promised healthcare restoration. Because he made concrete legislative efforts that did not deliver the promised outcome, this is a failed delivery with an effort badge.
