Assessments
The verified commitment and verified evidence show legislation containing repeal language for Section 122, and verified action evidence shows the bill was read twice and referred to the Senate Finance Committee. That supports an effort to advance repeal legislation, but the verified passages do not show enactment or that the balance-of-payments authority was actually repealed. Because this is an outcome commitment and there is no documented expired deadline, an attempt without enactment is unresolved. Candidate-specific material attribution is not established by the verified passages provided.
