Assessments

Public state: unverified As of unknown · legacy_unverified · . Original AI recommendation (not independently established): never. same_term A for effort

The promise was to create jobs in a new Emergency Response Corps for checking in on unhoused people and others in need. The available evidence shows only a related homelessness bill was introduced; it did not establish the promised corps or show enactment of that specific outcome. That is a serious attempt, but not fulfillment of the promise.

Public state: unverified As of unknown · legacy_unverified · . Original AI recommendation (not independently established): never. same_term A for effort

The evidence shows Tlaib campaigned on creating jobs in a new Emergency Response Corps to check in on unhoused people and others in need, but there is no evidence that such a corps was created or funded. H.R. 7451 was a serious homelessness-related legislative effort in the same term, but it proposed a youth homelessness guaranteed income pilot rather than the promised Emergency Response Corps, and the provided evidence does not show enactment. Because there was a serious attempt related to the policy area but the promised outcome was not delivered, the outcome is never with an effort badge.
