No release in the lookback window mentions prescription drugs, drug prices, or lower prescription drug costs.

Morelle's official House healthcare page says he helped pass legislation that lets Medicare negotiate drug costs and reduced insulin to $35 per month for seniors, and it lists his co-sponsorship of additional prescription-drug affordability bills. That is concrete same-term follow-through in his federal office. But the result is narrower than the broad promise to lower prescription-drug costs generally, because the enacted savings chiefly apply to Medicare beneficiaries and selected drugs, and his own page says he is still fighting to lower costs more broadly. As a House member, he deserves credit for helping advance and vote for the enacted outcome, but not full credit for fully delivering the broader promise.
