Evidence
Fedorchak said that if elected she would focus on energy and agriculture, and she said she wanted to serve on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Her office said she had focused on advancing policies that cut red tape, support American energy, and reflect the priorities of North Dakotans, including agricultural communities.
Fedorchak sponsored H.J.Res.105, and Congress.gov shows it became Public Law No. 119-49 on 2025-12-11 after House and Senate consideration.
Congress.gov records Fedorchak as sponsor of H.R.3062; the bill passed the House on 2025-09-18 and was received in the Senate.
She urged House support for year-round E15, said it would support farmers and strengthen energy security, and described it as a top priority for her and North Dakota farmers.
She said expanding ethanol access would help North Dakota producers and that Congress still needs a common-sense solution for year-round E15.
EPA announced a temporary emergency fuel waiver that keeps E15 on the market beginning May 1, 2026 and removes federal enforcement of state boutique fuel requirements, increasing fuel supply and consumer choice. The notice says the action gives Americans more fuel options and a bigger domestic market for farmers and biofuels producers.
Fedorchak said the House passed H.R. 1346 by a 218-203 bipartisan vote and described it as a permanent nationwide year-round E15 standard that strengthens demand for American-grown fuels and gives farmers and ethanol producers more reliable markets.
Fedorchak announced House passage of H.R. 2252, the North Dakota Trust Lands Completion Act, which she said would reduce fragmented land ownership and authorize a process that can support energy revenue, education funding, and land management improvements.
Fedorchak said the House passed the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, describing it as a win for agriculture and North Dakota. The release says she helped secure a producer-focused amendment and that the bill expands access to credit, strengthens the farm safety net, and supports conservation and financing tools.
Assessments
Fedorchak made substantial same-term progress on the promise, including sponsoring H.J.Res.105, which became Public Law 119-49 and directly advanced North Dakota energy development and land-use flexibility. She also helped move pro-energy and pro-agriculture measures through the House, including year-round E15 legislation, a farm bill, trust lands legislation, and cross-border energy infrastructure legislation. However, most of the broader agriculture and energy agenda remained incomplete or only passed one chamber, and the promise to broadly 'unleash' both industries is too expansive to treat as fully delivered based on one enacted energy-related measure and several unfinished actions. This warrants partial credit with an effort badge.
Fedorchak made energy and agriculture a clear governing priority and delivered at least one concrete same-term result: she sponsored H.J.Res.105, which became Public Law No. 119-49 in December 2025 and addressed North Dakota energy development and land-use flexibility. She also introduced or supported additional energy and biofuels measures, including year-round E15 and cross-border energy infrastructure, but key parts remained unfinished or only passed one chamber. Because the promise was broad and covered both energy and agriculture, the record supports meaningful partial delivery rather than full fulfillment.
