Occurrences
I will continue to voice my support for programs like the Cleveland Clinic's Initiative to improve infant and maternal health and and University Hospitals’ Rainbow Center for Women & Children, First Year Cleveland, and CenteringPregnancy.
Additionally, I will work to tackle the high infant and maternal mortality rates.
Evidence
I will continue to voice my support for programs that improve infant and maternal health... I am a strong supporter of Birthing Beautiful Communities, a Cleveland-based group providing culturally sensitive education and advocacy to women during and after pregnancy, and should I have the honor to be elected Congresswoman I will continue to support community-based solutions to this crisis.
This Congress, I remain committed to supporting legislation that protects our pregnant workers and mothers and will advocate for federal and community-based solutions to the Black maternal mortality crisis.

Assessments
The promise was specifically to continue voicing support for programs improving infant and maternal health, not necessarily to enact a particular law. Evidence shows Brown publicly reaffirmed support on her official House issue page and took aligned legislative actions, including cosponsoring maternal health measures such as the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act and later Black maternal health and underserved-community maternal/infant health legislation. Because the promised outcome was advocacy/support and that support continued during her congressional service, the promise is fulfilled.
