Every person who needs it should be able to access the family planning support and birth control method that works best for them, which is why my colleagues and I are working to expand access to family planning, including birth control. I am proud to support multiple bills that will help achieve this goal, including the Expanding Access to Family Planning Act, to reauthorize and increase investment in Title X; the Affordability is Access Act, to expand insurance coverage for over-the-counter contraceptives.
Expand access to family planning and birth control.

Evidence
Smith's House website says people should be able to access family planning support and the birth control method that works best for them, and says he supports bills to reauthorize and increase Title X, expand insurance coverage for over-the-counter contraceptives, improve pregnancy-intention screening, and limit VA contraception copays.
Assessments
The evidence shows Adam Smith materially worked toward the promise by publicly supporting expanded family planning and birth-control access and backing specific federal measures such as Title X reauthorization and contraceptive-coverage expansions. But the record provided does not show that he personally delivered the promised expansion through enacted federal policy or a completed outcome attributable to him. In federal legislative context, sponsorship and advocacy without demonstrated enactment support partial credit rather than full delivery.
