CoreCivic’s facility page still lists the Dilley Immigration Processing Center at 300 El Rancho Way in Dilley, Texas, names ICE as the customer base, and says CoreCivic has managed the site since 2014; the page also still offers visitation, money-transfer, and jobs information.
The Chronicle reported that Dilley was still open in spring 2026, that the federal contract runs through March 2030, and that CoreCivic was hiring there as of May 15; the story says the site can house up to 2,400 people and is still being paid monthly even when population fluctuates.
After touring Dilley on May 5, 2026, Christian Menefee said the conditions were horrific and described dishonesty about care and nutrition; the same report said the facility still held just under 400 people, including 93 children, while lawmakers continued calling for it to close.
