It creates a public, searchable database... And it exposes every taxpayer-funded payout going back to 1995... Any allegation of criminal conduct must be sent straight to the Department of Justice...
I will introduce and press for passage of the SWALWELL Act to ban taxpayer-funded misconduct settlements, require lawmakers and staff to pay settlements themselves, and increase transparency and accountability for congressional wrongdoing.

The official House homepage for Gosar shows recent lookback-window items for other bills, including "Gosar Introduces Bill to Strengthen Yuma Proving Ground and Support Military Readiness" (May 8) and "Gosar Applauds Committee Passage of Yuma Defense Readiness Act" (June 10).
At the time of capture, Gosar's sponsored-bills page listed only "Grand Canyon Bison Management Act."
